Pikabuu: Home Demo Guide

Official demo identity

Open the demo from JoyKeratif’s own itch page. The page also offers the paid complete build, so read the filename and price panel before downloading. On the evidence date, the demo was listed separately as Demo Version 1.0 at 54 MB.

File size and version are dated snapshots, not permanent specifications. A future update can replace the archive without making an older guide fraudulent; always treat the live developer page as the current source.

Free demo does not mean free full game

Searches for “Pikabuu: Home free” often mix two different requests. The official demo is free. The complete PC build is paid on Steam and was also shown as a paid itch download during research. This wiki does not host either archive and does not link cracks, repacks, torrents, or mirror installers.

If itch.io asks you to pay for a paid file, that is the developer’s sales flow—not a technical problem to bypass. Choose the clearly labelled demo when you want the free sample, or buy the full build from an official storefront.

What to test in the demo

Do not assume demo saves transfer to the full version. No official transfer promise was verified. The safest expectation is that the paid build starts its own progress and may contain changes not present in Demo Version 1.0.

• Confirm the build launches on your Windows version.
• Check text readability and audio volume before continuing.
• Learn how objectives and interaction prompts are presented.
• Watch frame pacing while moving between rooms.
• Decide whether the domestic psychological-horror tone suits you.
